With a host of awards and critical acclaim heaped upon their films, Pixar has a few trade secrets to share and next month they’ll be doing just that.
The Vancouver Institute of Media Arts is presenting its second Pixar masterclass in animation and story development next month in Vancouver, from Sept. 24-25. Its last stop was in Toronto earlier this summer. At the helm of the two-day intensive class will be animator Andrew Gordon and story artist Matthew Luhn, both from Pixar. It will be the last stop in North America this year.
The class targets animators and storytellers of all levels, and both Gordon and Luhn aim to provide attendees with the lessons they’ve learned from collectively working on all the Pixar films.
