Telus TV subscribers will be getting another channel, as Astral adds its preschool channel Playhouse Disney to the IPTV lineup.

With this new deal, customers in B.C. and Alberta who subscribe to Family Channel will have access to such popular series such as Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Handy Manny and Franny’s Feet, as well as a new season of Canuck original production The Secret World of Benjamin Bear and new book-based series Stella and Sam from Canadian author Marie-Louise Gay to debut in January.

Currently, only the English-language channel Playhouse Disney was available at launch, with no word on its French-language counterpart.

Telus TV boasts 200,000 subscribers.
