Selling spree at Buzz

BuzzTaxi has closed a raft of sales for its factual and documentary titles across the Americas, including the one-hour Thin Ice and the health series Healing with Animals (13 x 30), which have gone to U.S. cable channel Halogen Network.

The Gemini-winning The Decorating Adventures of Ambrose Price (13 x 30) will, meanwhile, make its U.S. debut on Logo.

Closer to home, SCN has acquired the environmental/lifestyle title Off the Grid and the doc Things To Do When You Are Dead (both 1 x 60), while Knowledge Network picked up Jennifer Baichwal’s 1999 film The Holier It Gets.

In Latin America, lifestyle/cooking show At the Table With… (26 x 30) went to MGM/Casa Club, while travel/adventure series Survivorman (23 x 60) was picked up by Ecuavisa for free television in Ecuador.

‘The diversity of the deals proves that there continues to be a high demand across borders for quality independently produced factual shows,’ said Jenna Bourdeau, co-president of the Toronto-based distributor, in a release.
