Kevin O’Leary and Robert Herjavec will next month be on both CBC and Global, which has added the ABC series Shark Tank to its Friday nights.
The reality series — the American version of the same format that spawned the Ceeb’s Dragons’ Den — is set to air Jan. 8 in the 9 p.m. ET/PT slot, leading into Numb3rs. The 9 pm slot was previously held by Dollhouse, which has been cancelled.
O’Leary and Herjavec appear on both shows, investing or not in the ideas put forth by a parade of inventors and entrepreneurs. The other Shark Tank panelists are fashion expert Daymond John, infomercial king Kevin Harrington and real estate investor Barbara Corcoran.
Dragons’ Den will return for its fifth season on Jan 6 at 8 p.m.
Shark Tank first aired on ABC in the summer to initially weak ratings, though it went on to make gains.
