Following the lead of Doctor Who, BBC’s nature programming has gone online at iTunes.

The Beeb said Tuesday that programs from its voluminous collection of nature shows are now for sale through the Canadian version of the online retailer, under its BBC Earth brand. The titles include the Emmy-winning series The Blue Planet as well as David Attenborough’s wildlife specials and Great Natural Wonders of the World.

The 2007 series Galapagos is also available in both standard and high-definition.

BBC Worldwide made its first move in this direction in July when episodes of Doctor Who, Torchwood and others were posted on iTunes.
