Movie channels buy Load

The Movie Network and Movie Central have picked up Lock ‘n Load and will air the short-run reality in step with Showtime starting next month.

Billed as an apolitical look at American gun culture, the 6 x 30 series, a new arrival on this fall’s Showtime schedule, is set at a family-run gun store in rural Colorado. It profiles the shop’s many customers, peering into their reasons for buying a firearm.

The show will run day-and-date with Showtime, starting Oct. 21 on both TMN and MC. The series will also run on the high-definition and on-demand channels for each.
