Seven new ’emerging and mid-level producers’ from Nova Scotia, Newfoundland and Labrador, and New Brunswick have been named as the lucky new CFTPA interns.
‘Regional programs are extremely important because they are designed to respond to specific skills shortages and needs of the local industry,’ says Susanne Vaas, CFTPA VP of business affairs, in a release.
The Atlantic Mentorship Program partners include Telefilm Canada, Film Nova Scotia, New Brunswick Film, and the Newfoundland and Labrador Film Development Corporation.
The following seven placements were awarded:

• Rink Rat Productions and Cyril Butler, St. John’s, NL
• Tell Tale Productions and Sean Doyle, Halifax, NS
