Liz Shorten is joining the B.C. branch of the CFTPA as its managing vice-president of operations and member services. She steps into the newly created role on July 6.
‘Liz brings a wealth to our Vancouver office. She is well known to our B.C. members and just the person to knowledgeably serve their interests,’ said CFTPA chief Norm Bolen in a statement.
Shorten has spent the last two years at Media Skillset Consulting, where she worked on developing initiatives for the television, film and new media sectors. Previously she worked at B.C. Film and the Ontario Film Development Corporation.
