Kim Cattrall, Howie Mandel and the late Raymond Burr were among the notables named on Tuesday to Canada’s Walk of Fame.
The Sex and the City star, together with the Deal or No Deal host and TV’s Perry Mason will be added to the Toronto sidewalk exhibit this fall, alongside musicians Blue Rodeo and Tom Cochrane; fashion designers Dean and Dan Caten (aka Dsquared2); writer Robert Munsch and Paralympic Games champ Chantal Petitclerc.
‘Their achievements are truly astounding and continue to resonate throughout the country and around the world,’ said Peter Soumalias, CEO and president of Canada’s Walk of Fame.
The Walk, now in its 12th year, currently includes 116 Canucks, lauded for achievements in entertainment, sports, arts or other fields. The eight new inductees will be honored at a Toronto gala on Sept. 12.
