Temple Street Productions is welcoming Kerry Appleyard to the team as its new head of development, reporting to Tecca Crosby, VP of drama.

Prior to the Toronto shop, Appleyard worked as a script editor on the BAFTA award-winning drama The Bill as well as on the series Trial and Retribution. She also produced two short films: No Deposit, No Return and The Welcome Committee.

Most recently, Appleyard produced the BBC kids drama M.I. High, and in 2008 was a producer for the fifth season of the Beeb’s Hustle.
