GlassBOX pushes Fanboys

GlassBOX Television and its multi-platform Bite TV have partnered with media agency Genesis Vizeum on an ad campaign for the movie Fanboys.

‘We’re developing an original four-episode mini-series called The Fan Boys that will air each week on Bite TV, Bite.ca and on our mobile platforms, for four weeks leading up to the DVD release,’ says Ryan Fuss, director of sales at GlassBOX, adding that distributor Alliance Films will promote the series on its website. Fanboys played in theaters earlier this year.

Meanwhile, Calgary-based mobile distributor MoboVivo has added several GlassBOX/Bite TV shows to its roster. Bite TV is available in about 240,000 households in Canada, and Quincy Raby, director of marketing at GlassBOX, says she expects a ‘significant uptake’ to occur as a result of the partnership.
