Getting up in the morning just got a little easier for sports fans, following the launch of Score in the Morning. The Score’s new morning show, hosted by its Nikki Reyes and Adnan Virk, airs live weekday mornings from 7 a.m. until noon, getting viewers ready for the day with news and press conferences as well as book and movie reviews, celebrity guests and training and tailgating tips.
‘The best part is that it’s live in the mornings, unlike other sports shows,’ says VP programming Greg Sansone. ‘We have the ability to not only show you what happened last night, but put it into context the next morning.’
The show is shot in The Score’s street-front studio in Toronto and targets the 18-49 male sports fan.
‘The new studio is very conducive to creative opportunities,’ says Sansone. ‘We’re open to working with advertisers.’ The program is also broadcast on Sirius Satellite Radio.
