The Nature of Things with David Suzuki returns to the Ceeb on June 22 with two new documentary series, both filmed in high-definition.
As China prepares to open up to the world for the Summer Olympics in Beijing, CBC will air Wild China, a six-part close look at the country. The first installment will investigate how China’s 1.3 billion people interact with their vast and various wildlife and landscapes, followed by explorations of China’s southwest jungles, the Tibetan plateau, the Great Wall, its exotic north, and wild coastal regions. The series will rerun on CBC Newsworld.
Also airing this summer is Antarctic Mission, a four-parter in which a crew of filmmakers, scientists and mariners sets sail on a high-tech research vessel, bound for the cold continent. It debuts July 20 and will also rerun on Newsworld.
