Cineplex is putting Seinfeld‘s Jason Alexander on the big screen next week, with help from a comedy festival in Sudbury. The actor-turned-comic is due to appear on Thursday at the LOL Sudbury Comedy Festival, which announced Friday it will beam the performance, and those of three other comics, live via satellite to some 60 Cineplex locations.
The HD show from the second annual festival will be seen in theaters from B.C. to Ontario. Alexander, who has taken to performing stand-up in the 10 years since his stint as George Costanza on Seinfeld wrapped, headlines a bill that includes British comic John Moloney and Canucks Sabrina Jalees and Winston Spear.
