The West Edmonton Mall is hosting the shoot Christmas in Wonderland until next month, starring as itself in the holiday comedy from Jordan Films (Moondance Alexander). The picture follows a father and his kids, who run afoul of crooks and counterfeit money during their Christmas shopping, and is directed by James Orr (Blowing Smoke, Mr. Destiny). Henry Boger (Even Money) and Alexander Tabrizi (Blonde and Blonder) exec produce.

The shoot recently drew thousands of locals who turned out for an extras casting call, and will shoot at the 800-store attraction until May 28. The film is a production of Vancouver’s Insight Film Studios and The Yari Film Group.
