The Canadian Film Centre (CFC) toasted the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) with its annual Sunday afternoon fundraiser on Sept. 7.
The CFC Homecoming celebrated the success of its alumni, who worked on approximately 29 films selected for TIFF’s 50th edition lineup.
As part of the event, MARZ CEO Jonathan Bronfman announced a multi-year commitment from the Paul Bronfman Family Foundation to support the CFC/CSC Cinematography Intensive for Canadian women. The CFC honoured the late Paul Bronfman’s memory by dedicating a space on the CFC campus in his name.
The gathering also included an activation from Netflix showcasing its Canadian and international originals, as well as several food and beverage options from local vendors.
