Bell Canada is putting soccer games on its mobile phone, following a deal announced Thursday with GOLTV. The all-soccer digichannel’s coverage of games from England’s Premiere League, Spain’s La Liga, the UEFA Champions League and others is now available via Bell Mobility and its online sibling sympatico.msn.ca.
‘GOLTV lives and breathes soccer 24/7 and now fans can too, wherever they may be,’ said Mark Rubinstein, president of the Category 2 channel, in a statement.
The channel won CRTC approval in 2005 as The Soccer Net and is owned by Insight Sports, which is controlled by sports magnate Larry Tanenbaum.
