* The Warner Bros.-backed horror feature Sanctum has stalled shortly after it was to get underway at Cinespace Studios in Toronto, and is now in turnaround, hoping to be picked up by another studio.

* Focus Features and director Joe Nussbaum are in Toronto next month for the six-week shoot of The Naked Mile, the latest installment in the American Pie franchise following last year’s direct-to-DVD Band Camp.

* Markham Street Films is making the feature doc 100 Films and a Funeral, about the rise and fall of PolyGram Filmed Entertainment, for The Documentary Channel and Sundance Channel.
