In the Oct. 10 issue of Playback (‘February wedding date for Telefilm & CTF,’ p. 23), I am quoted as saying, ‘Folks who are now our employees will move over to Telefilm. We are not ‘co-operating.’ We’ve been told to step back and let Telefilm do the job…’
I am concerned that the ‘not co-operating’ comment will be taken out of context by our stakeholders.
Telefilm and the CTF have been assigned different jobs to do during this transition, and in that sense, it is not a ‘co-operative’ relationship. However, the staff of both Telefilm and the CTF are working exceptionally hard to ensure quality and continuity of client services, as well as working together transparently, and co-operatively to deliver our indispensable program funding to our client base.
