The final episode of Global Television’s Gemini award-winning Traders will air on March 16.

Produced by Alliance Atlantis Communications, Traders has been a fixture in Global’s Thursday lineup for five seasons, having held its own in head-to-head competition against nbc’s must-see tv hit ER. Traders premiered in 1996.

The hour-long series finale will tie up the loose ends of the primetime Bay Street drama series, including an interesting twist involving Marty’s (Patrick McKenna) fanatic book fan, and a death threat Marty receives via the mail. In the meantime, while Adam (Bruce Gray) basks in his control of grc, Sally (Sonja Smits) spends her honeymoon at husband Ben’s (Shaun Johnston) ranch, watching the market take a downturn.

The ensemble cast of Traders also includes Rachael Crawford, Peter Stebbings and Angela Vint.
