The 10th annual Canadian Institute of Film and Television Industry Conference is scheduled for March 23 and 24 at Le Royal Meridien King Edward Hotel in Toronto.
The conference, which brings together industry leaders and legal and financial experts to comment on the hottest developments in the film and tv industry, this year examines the impact of the new crtc tv policy and the new Feature Film Fund; the necessity of producing and distributing for an international market; profiting from the convergence of Internet and broadcasting; the tax-credit process; assessing new and alternative sources of financing; and the latest trends in coproduction and cofinance deals.
