* At cbc, Christina Hajek has been named director of international coproductions, sales and acquisitions. Hajek was previously deputy director.

Dina Vangelisti is cbc’s new head of sales and new business development. Vangelisti now monitors all cbc sales activity in Asia and Latin America, and manages all sales in the u.s., Australia, New Zealand and the Caribbean.

Sandra Sarciada-Naughton joins cbc’s international sales team as sales executive for Latin America, working out of l.a.

And Chris Jordan has been named chief marketing and sales officer at cbc. Jordan has held different posts with Coca-Cola, including group director of marketing.

* Ian McLeod is the new vp of production at CineNova. Coming aboard in October, McLeod will leave his post as executive producer on ctv’s W-Five.

* Marina Cordoni has been promoted at Portfolio Entertainment to vp of distribution. In her former post Cordoni was the head of sales and acquisitions for the company.

* Jean Huang has been named the new vp of international sales for Lions Gate Television. Huang is the former executive director of international television sales at GRB Entertainment.

* At PS Production Services, Jeff Ramsay, formerly operations manager, has been promoted to gm of the Western Canadian region. He replaces Barry Reid, who has stepped down after six years as gm to pursue other interests. Ron Malo will continue as controller, but will assume additional duties as business manager.

* Sharon Capotosto has been named director of merchandising and licensing at Alliance Atlantis Communications. Formerly vp and gm at Venture Licensing of Canada, Capotosto will monitor all of the licensing for aac’s film and television properties as well as act as a third-party Canadian agent for certain film distributors.

* Jeanine Basile has joined Telefilm Canada as communications and public affairs attache. Basile, previously director of public relations at Montreal’s Telescene Film Group, has also worked at the National Film Board.

* Gail Morrell has been appointed communications director for the Banff Television Festival and will officially come on board Oct. 15. Morrell is a former vp of corporate communications at ctv and ran her own company, gailforce Communications.

Lizbeth Smeaton is the festival’s new vp of marketing, having been promoted from marketing director. Smeaton has been with the festival since 1994.

* Sandy Fraser takes over as director, marketing and promotion at ONtv Hamilton. He was previously director of creative services at Alliance Broadcasting.

* Max Berdowski has joined Global Television as the new promotion and publicity manager.

* Bravo! communications manager Carla Lucchetta has taken on the additional role of communications manager for Space: The Imagination Station.
