Hot from Licensing 99 International in New York: Toronto’s Decode Entertainment has licensed its new animated series Angela Anaconda to Fox Family u.s. and Teletoon Canada. Decode’s Beth Stevenson produces the 26 half-hours and John Halfpenny directs. Coproducer Core Digital Pictures handles animation.

PBS has acquired Cinar’s Caillou for fall 2000. The partnering deal covers tv, home video and licensing. Cinar is the only children’s prodco with four concurrent series in pbs’ Ready-To-Learn network block. pbs has licensed 20 new episodes of Wimzie’s House, and airs Arthur and Zoboomafoo, produced in association with Earth Creatures Co.
