Montreal: Femmes du cinema et de la television et de la video de Montreal is inaugurating a ‘happy hour’ workshop series entitled ‘Knowledge is Power.’

The opening Jan. 20 session on ‘New Trends in Animation’ features Madeleine Levesque, director, original production, Teletoon. A second Feb. 24 session on ‘The Importance of Casting and Packaging’ features Andrea Kenyon and Myriam Vezina of Andrea Kenyon and Associates. Cinar Corp. vp/general counsel Marie-Josee Corbeil and others will speak at a March 24 workshop on ‘The Importance of Coproductions.’

All sessions start at 5:30 p.m. and are being held at Marche Movenpick, Salon Bistro in Place Ville Marie.
