– More Due South
Alliance Communications has confirmed it will produce two more seasons of Due South thanks to increased financing from the international market, including England and France.
The original team will be back, minus direct input from creator/co-executive producer Paul Haggis and co-executive producer Kathy Slevin who were at arms’ length during the second season. At present there’s no u.s. broadcaster, but the company is optimistic one will step up to the plate once production starts rolling.
Alliance also plans to produce at least another season each of Straight Up and the long-running North of 60, both for cbc.
