Scathing reviews aside, Baton Broadcasting System managed to maximize ratings on Golden Girl: The Silken Laumann Story through two airings on June 26 and June 28.
Cumulative ratings from both nights over the entire Baton system scored 1,327,000 viewers 2+, according to A.C. Nielsen statistics.
The two-hour mow drew a majority female audience, 65% of the 18+ crowd, with 791,000 viewers and similar splits in the 18-49 and 25-54 demos.
In the Toronto/Hamilton market, total audience ran 356,000 viewers 2+. The 18+ crowd split 216,000 female, 112,000 male, with the 25-54 demographic turning in a total of 166,000 viewers, 112,000 female and 54,000 male.
