Alliance has restructured its feature film distribution operations – with Victor Loewy overseeing four divisions and their four directors – under the banner of Alliance Motion Picture Group.

Alliance Independent Films, for small independent films, will be headed by Charlotte Mickie; Alliance Releasing Canada, for domestic product, has Tony Cianciotta at the helm; Le Monde, dealing with genre films, retains John Fremes as director and will relocate to Los Angeles; and Alliance Pictures International will handle large-budget films, but no director has been named. Patrice Theroux has been named executive vp of distribution.

The company’s production unit remains l.a.-based Alliance Pictures, headed up by Andras Hamori.
