Brunico Communications is pleased to announce that Allison Vale has been promoted to news editor of Playback.

Vale, who joined Playback in September 1994 as a staff writer covering broadcasting and commercial production, will now oversee the news operation, reporting to editor Mary Maddever. Vale will also continue to cover the broadcast sector.

Before moving to Playback, Vale, a graduate of Wilfrid Laurier and Ryerson Polytechnic Universities, spent four months with Brunico as a staff writer for Strategy, Playback’s sister publication.
