As rumored for months, Michel Dupuy is out of office and Minister of the Environment and Deputy Prime Minister Sheila Copps is now Minister of Heritage. There is no official post for Dupuy at present, but he says the prime minister has a task ahead for him that will involve acting as an advisor.

Showtime Network has ordered 44 new episodes of The Outer Limits, the equivalent of seasons three and four. Season two will air this spring on tmn and Super Channel in Canada with a second window on CanWest Global and cfcf. Trilogy Pictures and Atlantis will be producing the shows starting later this year

Also in Atlantis news is a new development deal with cbs for the miniseries, The Return of Alex Kelly.
