– DiviCom has improved the quality, efficiency and flexibility of the MPEG-2 digital broadcast system it introduced a year ago. Among the enhancements to the encoder are an advanced video preprocessor, adaptive field frame coding, and repeat field detection/film mode.

DiviCom is also developing a portable, Windows-based version of its system controller.

In January, DiviCom became the first company to ship the MPEG-2 program encoders.
