HBO’s House of the Dragon (pictured) burned through the competition to lead Canadian demand in overall TV for the third week of June.
The Game of Thrones prequel series was 101 times more in demand than the average TV series in Canada between June 17 and 23, according to Parrot Analytics. The series’ second season premiered on Crave in Canada on June 16.
On the digital demand chart, Prime Video’s The Boys overtook Netflix’s Bridgerton for the No. 1 spot at 92.4 times more in demand, compared to Bridgerton‘s 82.3. The Boys was No. 2 on the overall TV chart, up one spot, while Bridgerton fell two spots to No. 3 from the prior week.
Disney+ series The Acolyte, part of its original Star Wars content, rounded out the top three digital series with a slight increase of demand at 50.5.
