Toronto-based Fabulous Footage, a leading stock footage library, will be opening a new office in New York City, located in the Film Centre at 630 Ninth Avenue. Andrew Fedosov, who has been with the company for three years, and Brian Dowling, with five years’ experience at another New York agency, will be staffing the new facility. Fabulous Footage has a network of 15 offices worldwide.

Three major conferences have been organized for both Asian and Western audio-video industry professionals attending the second mip asia market in Hong Kong this winter. Reed Midem Organisation and Kagan World Media will team up to organize three conferences: ‘Reaching the Asian viewer: cable or satellite?’ on Nov. 29, ‘Doing TV business in China’ on Nov. 30, and ‘The powers that be: regulation and incentives’ on Dec. 1.
