Alliance earnings up 78%

Alliance Communications has reported results for the first nine months ended Dec. 31, 1994, declaring $144 million in consolidated revenues compared to $80.2 million for the same period the previous year.

Net earnings were $9.1 million, a 78% increase over the corresponding period in ’93. Earnings per share were $0.96 compared with $0.70 for the same period a year earlier.

Alliance also announced a $75 million credit deal with the Royal Bank of Canada to be used for working capital, production financing and currency hedging.
