Nelvana donates collection to AGO

Toronto-based Nelvana will donate an archival collection of artwork from its 23 years of animation and live-action productions – including animation cels, backgrounds, designs, drawings, exposure sheets, layouts, production notes, storyboards, paraphernalia and memorabilia – to the Art Gallery of Ontario.

Nelvana estimates the donation – valued at between $5.5 million to $7.8 million – at between 5% and 10% of its entire artwork collection.
