studio is up and running

Electricimages has welcomed cast, crew and production offices of the CBC Newsworld program Business World to a new studio (Studio 2) and control room built specially for Business World at ei’s Studio Centre.

Business World moved into the ei facilities as part of a five-year contract and the first show in the new studios aired last month. Terry Debono, ei’s vice-president of special projects, headed up the studio design team along with Chris Priess, vice-president of technical operations. Engineer Rob Koch handled cad engineering. (Note: the studio is also available to outside projects.)
