January is toy month at LTB
LTB Productions is ‘buried in toys’ at the moment. Director Philip Kates had seven days for Tyco from Bozell New York, and five days for Tiger Electronics from Posnick and Kolker. Doug Koch handled camera on both. ltb also had two additional days for Tiger with l.a.-based director/dop David Stern.
At Chaos International, director Larry August had a shoot for Procter & Gamble’s Royale facial tissue from Leo Burnett, and Gord Oglan had three days for Canada Games from Kornblum/Communique. dop Peter Hartmann worked on both projects. Richard Unruh handled post for August’s shoot, while Barry Farrell edited Oglan’s. Both work out of Third Floor Editing.
At Imported Artists, director Gary Johns picked up two days in l.a. for Pepsi’s new product Pepsi Max from J. Walter Thompson Toronto. Unruh at Third Floor edited.
Director Richard D’Alessio had four days for ibm from Enterprise and two days for Mexicasa Salsa from Maclaren:Lintas. Simon Mestel was dop on both shoots. Mick Griffin at Flashcut took care of post for the ibm spot, while Jon Hopp at Third Floor posted the Mexicasa spot.
At Radke Films, Richard Radke picked up a project for Cheerios Multi Grain from Saatchi & Saatchi New York, two days for London Life from Miller Myers Bruce and one day for the American Cancer Society from Bonneville Communications in Utah. Barry Peterson was behind the camera on all three. Radke also has a five-day McDonald’s Restaurant package from DDB Needham Chicago, which will shoot in Miami with dop Michael Givens. John Mastromonaco has three days for Shoppers Drug Mart from Chiat/Day and a day for Manager jeans from taxi. Radke director/ cameraman Ousama Rawi finished up a project for Seagrams Worldwide from Ogilvy & Mather Amsterdam.
The team at TOPIX Computer Graphics and Animation has completed nine spots for the Ohio Lottery Commission from Marcus Advertising. Ken Nielsen, Doug Masters and Michael Halley animated, while Harold Harris directed and K.C. Rasmussen illustrated.
