The new awards program has named Hello! Canada as its print partner, which will help to build hype in advance of the March 2013 event with pieces on the nominated stars and projects.
Konrad von Finckenstein (pictured) is starting at private law firm Jams as an arbitrator and mediator and will be based out of Toronto.
Mike Clattenberg will direct the third feature film installment, produced by Topsail Productions and Trailer Park Productions and featuring Robb Wells, John Paul Tremblay and Mike Smith as the crude criminal trio.
The Dec. 1 workshop will include the short film award pitch, which sees five aspiring filmmakers vie for a $15,000 cash prize and ‘in-kind’ services of up to $100,000 to be used to complete their project.
Next year’s festival will take place from Sept. 5 to Sept. 15, 2013.
