Animania lands Adrenalini

Bejuba! Entertainment has sold the animated series The Amazing Adrenalini Brothers to Voom HD Networks in the U.S., where it will air on Animania Channel.

‘It’s actually quite interesting because it’s an HD channel and they take HD rights only, so I can still go on to sell [Adrenalini Brothers] to Nickelodeon or Cartoon Network [in the U.S.],’ says Tatiana Kober, president of the L.A.- and Montreal-based distributor.

The transaction is the latest in a series of deals for the zany 2D Flash series, which was also picked up by international broadcasters including Cartoon Network in Europe and Asia, and ABC in Australia. It is a coproduction between Vancouver’s Studio B Productions and U.K. animation company Pesky.

Kober says an airdate for the series on Animania is yet to be determined.

Adrenalini, based on the popular web shorts of the same name, follows the adventures of three daredevil brothers from the fictional country of Rendoosia. It airs here on YTV.
