Capital Motion Picture Group has picked up the Canadian distribution rights across all platforms for the Canadian documentaries Unleashed! and Anjar.

Unleashed!, directed by Justin Turcotte and produced by Ben Mallin, tells the story of an amateur dog dancing troupe and a director trying to launch a Cirque du Soleil-inspired dog dancing and indoor kite-flying theatrical show.

The second title added to Capital Motion’s slate, Anjar, looks at the history of a small Armenian village in Lebanon that is linked to a group of survivors from the 1915 Armenian Genocide.  The film is directed by Noura Kevorkian and produced by Paul Scherzer.
