Jon Rafman and Karl Lemieux are headed to the International Film Festival Rotterdam after their respective short films were booked into the Tiger Awards competition for shorts.
The 2015 competition will include Rafman’s Mainsqueeze, a seven-minute montage of internet-inspired content, and Lemieux’s Quiet Zone, which is produced by the National Film Board of Canada.
The Rotterdam short film competition will feature 22 titles in all, including contenders from Vietnam, Egypt, Norway, Singapore, Serbia and Austria.
The 44th International Film Festival Rotterdam is set to run from Jan. 21 to Feb. 1.
