• John Lewis is now international VP of IATSE, stepping up from his post as director of Canadian affairs to take over for the recently resigned Mimi Wolch.

• Vancouver’s Bardel Entertainment has named Sarah Haasz as director of development and posted her to a new office in Toronto.

• Former Decode exec Alethea Robinson is now manager of marketing and communications at Breakthrough Films & Television. Also at the Toronto shop, Amy Marcella has been upped to supervising producer at BF&T, in charge of all live-action properties, while Stephanie van Bruggen steps up to the same post at Breakthrough Animation.

• Laura Tanner is now SVP of digital media at CanWest MediaWorks, where she will lead the development and online launches of TV content from Alliance Atlantis, E! Canada and Global Television.

• CTV and Rogers have made Rick Chisholm their EVP of broadcasting for coverage of the 2010 Winter Olympic Games in Vancouver, and tapped Alon Marcovici as VP of digital media research.

• Mark Milliere has been promoted to VP of production at TSN, taking over for Rick Chisholm. The sports channel has also added Sara Orlesky to its SportsCentre roster in Toronto. Orlesky will cover local sporting events as well as national stories for the sports news nightly, leaving her post at rival network The Score in Vancouver.

• David Christensen (Six Figures) is now executive producer of the National Film Board, North West Centre, working out of Edmonton.

• Dale Godsoe is the new chair of the board of directors at VisionTV, taking over for Dr. Irving Abella.

• Super Channel has named a development ‘dream team’ with representatives for every province. From east to west, the team is comprised of Anna Petras, Ray Wilson, Geoff Le Boutillier, Cheryl Wagner, Peter Landecker, Marguerite Pigott, Melissa Kajpust, Will Dixon, Glynis Whiting and Maureen Levitt.

• George Ritter is the new CEO at Nunavut Film.

• Alyson Richards has joined The Nightingale Company as an associate producer. The Toronto company has also added Dennis Coyne in business development, Adam Clare as an online properties strategist and Jeanette Cabral as a development coordinator. *
