Shaw Media’s Slice network has given a second season order to Unusually Thicke, the Alan Thicke faux-reality series from Toronto’s Peacock Alley Entertainment.
The U.S. POP network has also picked up the series that has started production in southern California. The POP network, currently known as TVGN with a reband set for 2015, is a joint venture of Lionsgate and CBS Corporation.
Unusually Thicke follows Alan Thicke, wife Tanya and 17-year-old son Carter.
The first season featured appearances by Minnie Driver, David Hasselhoff, Bob Saget, Wayne Gretzky, John Stamos, Bill Maher and Robin Thicke.
