The Canadian Film Centre celebrated the accomplishments of the songwriters and composed wo made up the 2013 class of the Slaight Music Residency with a showcase event on Sept. 24.

The part-time, eight-month residency aims to improve participants’ skills in composing film for film and television, and exploring new business opportunities in the industry.

The event featured showcase reels from last’s year participates, which included Adaline, Robyn Dell’Unto, Matthew O’Halloran, Joseph Murray, Lodewijk Vos, Erica Procunier and Rob Teehan.

2014 Slaight Music Residency participants include: David Arcus, Ben Fox, Michelle Osis, Laura Barrett, Michael Olsen and Liam Titcomb.
