Archstone Distribution has acquired the international sales rights to Sean Garrity’s latest film, Borealis.
Producers Buffalo Gal Pictures and Banana-Moon Sky Films made the pre-sale to world rights, excluding Canada, to the Los Angeles-based sales agent.
Archstone also had the rights to Garrity’s and Jonas Chernick’s 2012 comedy My Awkward Sexual Adventure, which was sold into over 30 territories worldwide.
That included a U.S. sale to Tribeca Film, and Archstone selling the remake rights for the Canadian film to France and Lithuania.
Chernick is starring in, wrote and is producing Borealis. The Canadian indie is shooting in Winnipeg and also stars Joey King, Kevin Pollak, Cle Bennett and Jake Epstein.
Chernick shares the producer credits with Phyllis Laing and Liz Jarvis. Northern Banner is releasing Borealis in Canada.
