Last Wednesday (Sept. 10) Women in Film and Television – Toronto hosted a swish gala during TIFF to celebrate the accomplishments of women in the Canadian entertainment industry. Despite a rainy day that soaked fancy shoes and clogged downtown streets, hundreds of Canadian entertainment professionals, men and women alike, descended on the CBC headquarters to hit the photo wall and enjoy WIFT-T’s hospitality.
