Cameras roll on Mr. Miracle in Vancouver

Principal photography has started in Vancouver on Unity Picture’s Mr. Miracle, an original Hallmark Channel television movie currently set to premiere in November.

The film is based on an upcoming book by the same name from author Debbie Macomber. The film follows the story of an angel named Harry Mills, played by Rob Morrow, who is sent to earth to help a struggling student. The film will shoot over three weeks, and received development funding from Creative BC.

Ron French and Stephen Harmaty serve as executive producers on Mr. Miracle, with Connie Dolphin producing. The movie is produced in association with Super Channel and the W Network.

Mr. Miracle will be distributed by Dan Wigutow Productions in the U.S., with international sales handled by BETA Films. The movie will air on Hallmark Channel in the U.S., and on Super Channel and W Network in Canada.

Earlier this year, Unity Pictures teamed up with Hallmark Channel to shoot the second season of Cedar Cove. The latest season of the series is currently airing on W Network in Canada, and the Hallmark Channel in the U.S.
