The National Film Board of Canada has named Anita Lee as executive producer of its Toronto-based production studio.

Lee, who will oversee English-language production, has been an NFB producer since 2005.

Her producer credits with the NFB include Stories We Tell and Late Fragment, an interactive feature.

Before joining the publicly funded filmmaker, Lee produced movie titles like John Greyson’s Proteus, and served as executive director of the Toronto Reel Asian International Film Festival and the Canadian Filmmakers Distribution Centre.
