Family producer CCI Entertainment has struck a strategic partnership with Los Angeles-based MarVista Entertainment.
The agreement, unveiled ahead of MIPTV, will see MarVista co-distribute worldwide around 200 hours from CCI’s library catalogue of lifestyle and factual series, along with movies and documentaries.
The tie-up include both companies considering coproduction opportunities.
The collaboration was unveiled by Fernando Szew, CEO, MarVista Entertainment, and CCI co-chairman and CEO Arnie Zipursky.
MarVista will be in Cannes next week to introduce CCI’s Cubicle to the Cage, comprising of 12 half hours about ordinary people taking a year out to become mixed martial arts fighters, as both an original series and a format.
Other CCI titles to be rolled to international buyers include Ancient Clues, Avventura, a hybrid travel-food series, Cooking for Love, a cooking-dating game show and Stylin’ Gypsies, featuring a band of travelling, irreverent and entertaining Gypsies.
