• The Comedy Network wants more Jon Dore, and has ordered a second season of his reality-ish series from Insight Productions. Work began mid-August on another 13 half-hours of The Jon Dore Television Show in Toronto, following the local comic through halfhearted efforts at self-improvement.

• Family Channel has ordered a third season (26 x 30) of The Latest Buzz from DHX Media, following a series of deals for the tween comedy in Europe and Latin America. The series, set in the offices of a struggling youth magazine, has been sold by DHX’s distribution wing to Nickelodeon Spain, Digiturk, RTE in Ireland, Cartoon Network Latin America and to VRAK.TV in Quebec, all of which took seasons one and two. Cartoon Network Germany has bought season one.
