International film sales, acquisitions and marketing exec Charlotte Mickie is leaving Entertainment One in January.

Mickie, EVP at eOne Films International, will depart the company as the indie outfit brings Harold van Lier on board as president to oversee international film operations.

She joined eOne in 2008 when the producer/distributor acquired Maximum Films, where Mickie had been managing director.

Mickie completed earlier executive stints at Celluloid Dreams and Alliance Atlantis Communications.

“The contribution Charlotte has made to the independent film community is unparalleled. She has helped countless young filmmakers find their voice and realize success around the world,” said Nelson Kuo-Lee, EVP and COO of the global film group at eOne, in a statement Tuesday.
